We use waxed concrete as a matrix for its indefinable texture and smooth surface. Colour, aspect, finish and varied chromatic and sensorial schemes bring out the material's charm and sensuality. The concrete is then used to manufacture concrete or waxed concrete slabs that are finished, coloured and textured. We reinvent formats, designing slabs that are oversized, tailored or made-to-measure. Their size is only limited by the High Performance Concrete that is used to manufacture them. For example, we make slabs that are 2m x 1m and roughly 1 cm thick! We then imprint the concrete, fabric or metal canvas, sometimes with footprints, leaving a part of ourselves behind. The concrete is fresh, malleable, subtle, able to take on any form. When it interprets the past, we give it a patina to better reflect the era that it represents. Concrete goes far beyond our creative limits, waiting for us to invent a better future for it.
